ScotGammon provides Edinburgh and Scotlands players a regular opportunity to play in a friendly (but competitive) environment making sure that both new players and those more experienced will enjoy themselves AND become better at this beautiful game.
Main Event
11pt KO with Consolation*
Entry for Main Events is £10 with 100% of entry fees being paid out.
*in order to complete events in good time first round matches can be 7 or 9 points and in extreme circumstances clocks imposed
The ScotGammon FreeRoll
Competition Entry is FREE for players choosing not to play in the Main event.
Match length is shorter and Winner receives a Prize (usually a bottle of wine)
Times
Registration between 12.45pm & 1.30pm with play starting very soon after.
Backgammon Million Qualifiers
A network of UK Backgammon Clubs and players are putting together a series of local and regional qualifiers for the Playboy Gammon Million tournament starting November 25th at the London Playboy Club.
Instead of paying $10,000 for a seat in the Main event, you can enter a sub-qualifier for as little as £12.50.
ScotGammon qualifiers are being arranged and more details should be available soon.
